Solace is the final breath after the journey.

As I painted, I wasn't searching for excitement or drama. I wanted to capture the feeling of arriving at a place where everything feels just a little lighter.

The colours became calmer, the movement gentler and the spaces between marks more important than the marks themselves. The gold appears quietly throughout the painting, reminding me that hope often stays with us, even when we no longer notice it.

For me, Solace is about accepting ourselves with kindness, carrying every experience we've lived through and finding peace not because life has become perfect, but because we have learned to move through it with greater grace.
